I am ok, REALLY I AM......

Divorce- traumatic event

Setting up new home- traumatic event

Losing your job- traumatic event

Lets recap for those who might have missed. I am going thur a divorce. After
11 yrs and 2 children. So i am setting up a new home. I only left with the sofa,
love seat, some kitchen utensil's, and personal items.

Then with out warning ( I guess there never is) I was fired from my job.
I am 45 yrs old started working at the age of 15. I have never been fired.
This had to be one of the most humiliating things that has ever happened to me.
Not to mention not a good time in my life.

3 major traumatic events. In the last 6 months.

Now I am just venting. That was the purpose of this blog. To let go of all my
experiences, good, bad, happy or sad. Surprisingly I am really ok.

I have set up my new home. I still have some boxes to empty. I would like to
paint the walls. Make some curtains. But for the most part. I am very happy
with my new home. It is paid for which helps a lot.

I had a very good interview this morning. It is with a large hospital in our
city. The position may not be the greatest. But it does get my foot in the
door.

I have been thinking of going back to school. I am still deciding on what I
would like to do. I am limited. I can not be on my feet for a long time.

If any one has any ideals. Please leave them.

The great deer hunter and Princess are doing very well thur all of this.
We have tried to do this with their best interest. I also have a beautiful
Korean girl in our home. She is 17 and from South Korea. I call her
Sunflower. Thru all of this she has helped keep every ones mind occupied.

This is a lot to swallow. But surprisingly I really am doing ok. This will
be a very had year. When I look back on it. I will think it was for the best.

You know what they always say. If it does not kill you, it will make you
stronger. I am working on being one of the strongest women alive. hhheee
LOL..:-)

Lots of love to momma ER and big brudder. You are in my thoughts and
prayers.

Big hug to you and the youngsters. I know this can be a difficult time, but it sounds like your feet still stand on solid ground. It can also be fun, making a new home that suits you where you are now in this life. I think of you often, hoping you're doing OK.

You *are* the strongest person I know. I know you will not only get through all of this, but make it work into something positive.

Now, since you asked, and only because you asked, because you know I NEVER give advice unless someone asks first, (ahem) here are some back-to-school suggestions.

Photography classes -- you've got a good eye for this and you know you really want to anyway.

Business classes -- to help run a business if you decide to start one up.

Medical Transcriptionist -- it pays well once you get your foot in the door and you can do it from home.

Legal Assistant -- it's a growing field and I think you would find it very interesting.

Spanish classes -- while you're deciding what you want to do, learn this language. It will open a lot of doors for you and give you and edge over other job applicants, should you choose not to go into business for yourself.

Hope that helps a little.

Trixie thanks for the hug and well
wishes. I can use all I can get
right now. I think of you often
too.

Crystal, I did ask. Once again
you came thur with flying colors.

I have been so blessed with good
friends. I have sent for a cd on
setting up your own studio. The
ideal to take a business course
will help. I had not thought about
that. Spanish would also be very
helpful. It would open many doors.

Can we say THANK YOU GOD, YOU ARE
SO GOOD. I have a place to set up
my studio. At no cost to me. Yes
you read that correctly. I have
met a wonderful new friend. She has
been very helpful to me.

She is offering me a corner of her
store to set up my studio. She said
she doesn't want any thing. It will
help me get set up.

I told her once I got going I would
give her a rent.

We are going to a Korean New Year
celebration tomarrow. It is at a
church in Springdale. They are
having tradional dress and food.

We all are very excited. There was
a prade just a few mins ago thru
the libary. In honor of it. The
costumes the children were wearing
were beautiful.

I better go. Sunflower is down
stairs with The Princess and Great
dear hunter.
